ARTIST, MURALIST, PAINTER, CONNECTION CREATOR
Hilary Frambes is an award winning Florida based muralist and portrait artist, who holds an MA from the University of Florida and a BFA from Columbus College of Art & Design. Colorful, hyperrealistic, and surreal large scale chalk murals are her signature.
While embracing the performance art aspect of live street painting and engaging with the public, she is often asked, “What do you do when it rains?” She explains that chalk art is ephemeral and to be enjoyed in the moment. You can only “save” chalk art in your memory and in pictures. The exciting nature of this media is also an analogy for many things in life: impermanent.

Though Frambes is most known for her chalk art, the artist enjoys painting murals, as well as portraits and abstract landscapes in acrylic on wood and on canvas. Her work is most noted for her use of color and light, captivating viewers at festivals as well as private art collectors.
